Previdus is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation EU 2016/679).

Previdus is a pre-launch intelligence platform providing regulatory, market, and competitive analysis for Belgian founders and their professional advisors. BCE registration pending.

02 — Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you submit an access request through our website:

Full name — to identify your application
Professional email address — to communicate regarding your access request
Firm name — to assess fit for our beta programme
Professional role — to understand your use case

When you download the Previdus Intake Form, no personal data is collected at the point of download. Data submitted within the completed form is processed separately under a client engagement agreement.

We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics at this time. A standard session cookie may be set by our hosting provider for operational purposes only.

03 — Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6:

Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — you explicitly consent when submitting the access request form
Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to evaluate applications and manage our beta programme
Pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to assess and respond to your access request

04 — How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for:

Reviewing and responding to your early access application
Communicating with you about the Previdus beta programme
Understanding our user base to improve the product

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in Section 05.

05 — Data Sharing

Your data may be processed by the following third parties acting as data processors on our behalf:

Hosting provider — website hosting and form submission processing. Data is processed under Standard Contractual Clauses in accordance with GDPR Chapter V.

No other third parties have access to your personal data. We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or any commercial third parties.

06 — Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to manage your access request and any resulting engagement. If your application is unsuccessful, your data is deleted within 90 days. If you become a beta participant, your data is retained for the duration of the engagement and deleted within 12 months of its conclusion unless a longer retention period is required by law.

07 — Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate data
Right to erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to restriction (Art. 18) — request that we limit processing of your data
Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest
Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing

08 — Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority:

09 — Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or alteration. Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely via our hosting provider's encrypted infrastructure.

10 — Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Previdus platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
